Jingbo Group can use a Pantone code as a color target for a bottle’s surface coating. We cannot adjust the color of the glass itself to match that code. For colored glass, we can only check the factory’s available furnace colors.
Can You Use My Pantone Code for a Bottle Coating?
Yes. A coating adds color after the glass bottle has been formed. Jingbo Group offers spray coating in solid, translucent, matte, glossy and gradient finishes. Your Pantone code gives us a color target for the sample.
The code cannot describe the whole finish. A translucent coating allows you to see the product inside. An opaque coating hides it. A matte surface gives the bottle a different look from a glossy surface, even when the color target is the same.
Your design may also call for a full-body color, a gradient, or color on only part of the bottle. The supplier needs to review the intended coverage together with the bottle shape. If your brand color appears only in a small logo, printing or a label may be a better fit than coating the entire bottle.
A brand color can appear on several materials at once. Your carton, cap and bottle may all use the same Pantone reference, but each finished component can look different. A coated bottle sample lets you judge whether they work together.
What If I Want the Glass Itself to Be Colored?
Jingbo Group can check the furnace colors available from the factory. We cannot mix a new glass color to match a custom Pantone number.
The supplier needs to check the color against your selected bottle. A clear bottle in a catalog is not automatically available in every furnace color. Availability depends on the bottle and the factory’s production arrangements.
You can compare an available colored-glass sample with a coated bottle sample if both routes are suitable for your project. The two bottles may appear similar in a photograph, but the color is part of the glass in one bottle and a surface finish on the other. Your quotation and approved sample should identify the route you choose.

Why Might the Bottle Differ From the Pantone Card?
A Pantone code is a useful way to communicate color. It is not a picture of how that color will appear on every material. Pantone states that its PMS master standards are based on ink printed on coated paper.
Glass adds other visual factors. The bottle may be transparent, translucent or opaque. Its finish may be matte or glossy. The liquid inside a translucent bottle may also change how the package looks.
That is why a Pantone code should guide sample development, while the physical bottle sample should guide approval. A screen image or a photograph can help your team discuss the design, but it cannot replace the finished bottle when color is important.

How Should Buyers Approve the Color?
Your team should give the supplier the full Pantone designation and the bottle model you plan to use. You should also describe the finish you want. If your brand has an approved carton or physical color sample, that reference can help the supplier understand the result you expect.
The supplier should prepare the color on the intended bottle, rather than on a separate color chip alone. Your team can then check the hue, transparency, gloss and coated area together. Your team should review the bottle beside its cap, label and carton. If the finish is translucent, your team should also check the bottle with the intended product inside when possible.
Color is only one part of approval. If your bottles will face repeated handling, washing or other demanding conditions, your team should tell the supplier. Your team can then check whether the coated sample suits that use.
Finally, your team and the supplier should agree on the physical sample and the appearance requirements for production. That record gives both sides a clearer reference for the first order and later repeat orders.

الأسئلة الشائعة
Can I send a HEX code instead of a Pantone number?
You can send a HEX code to show your initial color idea. Your supplier may ask for a Pantone reference or a physical sample before developing the coating. Your team should approve the color on the finished bottle.
Can you coat only part of a glass bottle?
Jingbo Group offers coating for all or part of a bottle. We need to review the bottle shape and the area you want coated before confirming the finish.
Do I need a new mold if I only want to change the surface color?
An existing bottle does not usually need a new mold for surface coating. The supplier still needs to confirm that the selected bottle is suitable for your requested finish.
الخاتمة
A Pantone code helps you explain the color you want, but the approved bottle sample defines the result. If you already have a bottle model and brand color, send Jingbo Group your bottle reference and color target. We can check the available furnace colors or review a coating sample for your project.
